Stafford is an accomplished IT professional with more than 20 years of technical and managerial experience designing, delivering and optimising networking, collaboration and security solutions for businesses headquartered in the Channel Islands and United Kingdom.

Upon completion of his BSc degree in Electronic Communication Engineering, he gained employment as a Broadband Network Engineer at Jersey Telecom, Jersey's oldest and largest telecommunications and service provider. This role involved system administration of JT's engineering environment and operation of Jersey's first broadband network based on ATM and ADSL technology.

Stafford then gained a position as a Consultant in JT's Global Enterprise division in a client facing role where he spent the next 18 years of his career. This is where he met Chris and they worked closely together for 9 years growing JT's client base, revenues, and product portfolio.

This role gave him responsibility for design and technical evaluation of solutions, where he worked closely with JT's Product Development, Transition and Operational teams to ensure smooth adoption of new products and services, mentoring team members, ensuring consistency in output and commercial aspects of the technical solutions that were designed and delivered and he gained experience in areas of Business Strategy, Commercial Analysis, Business Transformation. 

When he started in this role there were two consultants and four engineers located in Jersey. By the time Stafford departed JT he was Head of the LAN & WAN Services team, the group had grown to 12 consultants and double that in the engineering teams with offices in Jersey, Guernsey, and London. 

In his desire to expand his knowledge and experience outside of the Service Provider environment he then took up a position as Head of Network and Security at C5. This exposure to the Systems Integration environment gave him the springboard he needed to launch into Enso Solutions.

Stafford is passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience and seeks to always maintain a close working relationship with his clients.

Chris is an accredited, seasoned and experienced secure networking consultant with over 25 years experience in planning, designing, delivering and operating global enterprise class networking solutions.

Chris' career started over 30 years ago in Financial services with a 10 year tenure with Royal Bank of Canada, supporting the business initially in IT mainframes, PC and server support. He soon found that networking was his passion and continued to devote his focus on managing the Bank's networking and voice systems. Chris spent time in Toronto Professionally accrediting with Cisco and understanding the relationship between technology outcomes and Financial Services business requirements.

Feeling compelled to grow, he joined Jersey Telecom's Professional Service group for a further 10 years to offer his consultancy skills to a wider audience. This is where he and Stafford met and worked closely together growing the networking communications solutions portfolio and client base. Chris spent this time delivering networking and communication solutions to large enterprises and managed the team as Professional Services Manager. In his final two years, he was contracted to a national financial services company as part of a larger task force to manage a significant and successful de-merger, sale and acquisition with successful outcomes.

Since then, Chris Joined Sure International for his most recent tenure to build and grow a Professional Services Group capability for the group. During his tenure he rose to Head of Professional Services increasing the team from three to sixteen, driving global networking, service provider and security solutions in design. He also spent this whole time as a Design Authority and Consultant for a large global insurance company, delivering the Data Centre, Core and Branch site connectivity, leading their roadmap, and growing/flexing their quickly expanding IT empire with great success and pride. 

Proud of the Sure team's growth, revenue, capability and success, Chris focused forward on technical innovation with the paradigm shift in digital transformation driving Cloud, Software-Defined networking and Mobile Workforce Enablement as customer data decentralised and distributed.

Chris' passion and enthusiasm for Software defined and cloud networking journeys through IT transformation shows through. He is now focused into Enso Solutions as a consultant and managed services partner. Chris thrives in building meaningful relationships and driving outcome based networking and security solutions that make a real and tangible difference to businesses in partnership.
